Thankful Thursday

Last week I wrote a "Thing I'm Loving About Motherhood" post, and it inspired my friend Joanna from Baby Gator's Den to write a "Thankful Thursday" post. She has decided to make this a weekly post, and has invited other bloggers to link up with her.

With all the negativity in our world (like the political bashing on FB right now, for instance...) it's good to remember that there are always positive things if you stop and think about it, and there is always someone worse off than you.

With that, here are a few of the things i'm thankful for this week:

-My sister, who picked me and the kids up on Tuesday when my care wouldn't start, so that I could drop off Stephanie off at school.

-The fact that my Dad has a car he doesn't use, and lent it to us while we figure out what's up with ours.

-My husband staying home with Joseph this morning so I could go to shopping at BJs by myself! (Seriously...this was huge. You would have thought I got to take a Caribbean vacation, that's how excited I was.)

-Amazing online friends who have turned into real life friends. We had a crafts night this past week, hosted by Kameron of A Wrinkle in Time and Liz of Learning to Juggle. Such a fun night!!

-Extra cuddles from my baby. He ran a fever yesterday and wanted nothing more than to snuggle in my arms. My first instinct was to feel annoyed, since there were so many things looming on my to-do list. Instead, I told myself to relax and enjoy it. There will come a time when mommy snuggles are the last thing he wants!

What are you thankful for this week? Link up over a Joanna's page, or share in the comments! I'd love to hear from you. :)

  3. I love giving thanks just because. And not because a holiday says its time.

  5. Running errands alone is the greatest thing ever. Also? Baby snuggles are the best. :)
